The AOCS department, which works behind the scene to keep the aircraft running for the pilots, crews and passengers, is an extremely important function as it provides various services from the ground to enable the crews of the aircraft provide best services to the customer. Following activities are taken care of by the AOCS department :  

·         Handling passenger queries and complaints regarding boarding, baggage  special requests if any

·         Ticketing

·         Ensuring timely catering and cabin services

·         Coordinating ground activities as per aircraft’s schedule

·         Aircraft and cabin’s maintenance and cleanliness

·         Ensuring high quality refreshment availability to the passenger

  

Hence their job although is based on ground, but caters to needs and  wants of the passengers and crew on the flight.
